What can Companies do?
In joining the FLA, companies demonstrate a commitment to promoting international labor standards within their supply chains. The companies that have joined the FLA to date range from multi-national corporations producing footwear and apparel for the global market, to small businesses that manufacture goods for the US collegiate market.

What can Colleges and Universities do?
In recent years, colleges and universities have begun to seek assurances that products bearing their names are produced under fair and decent working conditions. The FLA provides an opportunity for colleges and universities to demonstrate their leadership and action on this issue by providing a program for schools to promote fair labor standards in the production of their collegiate licensed goods.

What can NGOs do?
Since the establishment of the FLA, NGOs have been fundamental in the development and operation of the FLA. From assisting in the formulation of policies and procedures at the Board level to factory-level involvement as accredited monitors, NGOs have played a valuable role in advancing workers rights through the FLA system.
