The FLA serves as a source of information to consumers and promotes public awareness about labor conditions around the world through candid and transparent reporting.
In accordance with the FLA Charter, we provide stakeholders with a review of Participating Company activities globally and at the factory level.
- At the macro level, the FLA issues an annual Public Report, which describes: the compliance programs of Participating Companies; common compliance issues in countries of manufacture; and efforts by Participating Companies to address them.
- At the micro level, the FLA publishes Tracking Charts of individual factories, which detail the noncompliance findings of FLA-accredited independent monitors and track the progress of Participating Company remediation in these factories. This information is updated periodically.
The FLA uses Tracking Charts to provide the public with information about the compliance situation of individual factories - the specific problems that were found by monitors and the action taken by participating companies in response to the findings. These charts outline the series of events involved in the FLA independent external monitoring (IEM) process.
