Special Projects

The FLA is continually seeking innovative ways to enhance respect for workers’ rights and to improve workers’ lives. Through its monitoring and labor compliance programs, the FLA identifies some of the more serious noncompliance issues that are not easy to correct through traditional corrective measures. In response, the FLA has designed and implemented special projects that address these systemic noncompliance issues at the industry or regional level. By striving to address root causes at a macro level rather than just targeting a single factory, these projects produce innovative solutions to recurring and serious noncompliances by combining the efforts of multiple stakeholders.
