Supply Chain Innovation

The Fair Labor Association has approximately 150 affiliated colleges and universities across North America. Students are an essential part of this relationship because on campuses everywhere, they are some of the most passionate and vocal defenders of workers’ rights.

The Student Committee offers students enrolled at affiliated colleges and universities an opportunity to learn about social responsibility and connect with others who share similar interests.

The 2020 – 2021 committee participation will include:

  • Interactive Meetings: Committee members are invited to interact with social responsibility practitioners on monthly calls with experts that will include business and civil society leaders, former government officials, and university representative members of the FLA Board.

  • Learning: Access to the FLA’s e-Learning program to help students understand social responsibility.

  • Networking: Engage with peers from other schools, subject matter experts, FLA staff, and a private LinkedIn group.

  • Writing: Students will have the opportunity to write articles related to social responsibility and human rights for possible publication by the FLA. Read the inaugural issue of the Student Committee Journal: Social Responsibility Topics of the 21st Century (pdf).
