On December 15, 2006, FLA published a report on the Third Party Complaint (3PC) filed by a group of workers at the MSI Garment Co., Ltd. factory in Cambodia. The 3PC alleged freedom of association violations, specifically related to the existence of a union controlled by management, workers being forced to pay union dues and inappropriate use of short-term contracts. The assessment provided by PVH Corp. (PVH) after speaking to relevant stakeholders could not substantiate any of the allegations. Based on a PVH assessment report and the failure of the complainants to provide corroborating information, the case was closed.
Note: PVH ended its affiliation with the Fair Labor Association in December 2019.
