For specific categories of companies that are not ready to pursue Fair Labor Accreditation or in cases where a company’s business model is not suited to the accreditation model, we offer several affiliation-based programs focused on knowledge building.
These programs provide training, tools, and resources that help companies develop a sustainable social compliance program that improves working conditions and protects workers’ rights.
At present, more than 2,500 affiliates participate in our knowledge-building programs, including those tailored to collegiate licensees, collegiate retailers, and single-factory suppliers.
While these companies do not go through the same rigorous, multi-year process as our members pursuing Fair Labor Accreditation, all our affiliates are required to learn from our rigorous Fair Labor Standards and meet a series of obligations designed to improve working conditions in global supply chains and protect workers’ rights.
