Grievance management in the palm oil sector

A grievance guidance series, commissioned by Cargill and developed by Proforest, was created to provide practical and action-oriented information on how to verify grievances, identify root causes, develop action plans to address them, and minimize risk of future grievances in the palm oil sector.   

The topic-specific series includes guidance on grievance management to help companies efficiently and transparently address claims of social and/or environmental harm in their direct operations. The Fair Labor Association led the development of three labor-related guidance documents: minimum wages, child labor, and forced labor.
