Cara Hagan is FLA’s director of knowledge management. In this role, Hagan’s primary duties include leading the development of educational materials, while also overseeing the implementation and management of online platforms used by FLA staff, members, and affiliates. Hagan’s implementation of the AMS (MyFLA) and LMS (e-Learning platform) has been a driving force for operational efficiencies, improved data management, and expanded learning opportunities across the organization. These initiatives have particularly enhanced the learning experience for collegiate licensees, offering more tailored and impactful training. Alongside her team, Hagan provides ongoing support to members with key online processes including renewals, e-Learning, supply chain disclosures, and the submission of corrective action plans (CAPs).
Prior to joining FLA in 2020, Hagan worked with GoodWeave International, where she built partnerships with brands to prevent and remediate child labor in their supply chains. She also managed the supply chain of an artisanal jewelry company in Ecuador and worked with a community development organization in Peru.
Hagan holds a Master of Business Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, with a specialization in sustainable supply chain management.
