People’s Courage International (PCI) works to ensure dignity and equality for all. PCI is headquartered in Washington D.C., with programs in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Through initiatives like the Migrants Resilience Collaborative (MRC) and Global Climate Resilience Collective (GCRC), PCI addresses systemic challenges faced by informal workers, migrants, and vulnerable communities across South and Southeast Asia. Our work focuses on facilitating access to social protection, providing climate adaptation support to mitigate vulnerability, and generating research and evidence to center worker rights and protection. These efforts are designed to be scalable, systems-focused, and rooted in grassroots realities.
PCI’s priorities and FLA’s strategic focus align in areas like:
Worker protection through our grievance redressal mechanisms
Ethical sourcing of agricultural produce within global supply chains
Promotion of workers’ rights across global supply chains, particularly for informal, internal migrants, and climate-vulnerable workers
PCI believes these shared priorities present a strong foundation for meaningful collaboration moving forward.

At PCI, we believe that protecting the rights and dignity of workers, often belonging to the most marginalized communities, requires shared accountability across civil society, private industry, and governments. For us, aligning with the Fair Labor Association’s principles means shaping resilient, transparent systems that don’t just respond to harm, but proactively safeguard workers’ wellbeing across global supply chains.
