From March 10 – 12, 2026, we hosted our first-ever Fair Labor Global Summit in the heart of Washington, DC.
We brought together representatives from leading global brands, unions, civil society organizations, and universities for three days of learning, collaboration, and discussion centered on improving working conditions in supply chains worldwide.
During the Fair Labor Global Summit, we dove into some of today’s most pressing labor issues in global supply chains, from responsible purchasing practices to effectively addressing heat stress in factories and farms.

2026 edition
As FLA’s annual flagship event, the Fair Labor Global Summit offers social compliance and human rights professionals across industries and regions a unique opportunity to connect and exchange best practices.
Fair Labor members, affiliates, and invited guests met and mingled over the course of the three days of programming, which featured panel discussions, roundtables, a collaborative workshop, networking lunches, and coffee breaks, plus a social hour.
Also on the agenda: FLA caucus and committee meetings, the 2026 FLA Collegiate Programs Annual Meeting, and an open meeting of the FLA Board of Directors.

This annual gathering is invitation only. In 2026, we welcomed all Fair Labor members and affiliates to attend, along with key stakeholders and select guests.

Revisit past events
The Fair Labor Global Summit built on the success of previous convenings. In October 2025, we brought together our international network in Berlin, with a focus on multiplying impact through collaboration. Over three days, we covered a range of pressing issues from HRDD models in upstream supply chains to implementing functioning and effective grievance mechanisms.
