On May 7, 2025, at 10 a.m. EST/4 p.m. CET, the Fair Labor Association (FLA) will be hosting a virtual briefing on the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL)’s Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB)’ flagship reports. These include:
- Findings on the Worst Forms of Child Labor;
- The List of Goods Made with Child Labor or Forced Labor (TVPRA List); and
- List of Products Made with Indentured Child Labor.
Richa Mittal, FLA’s Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer, will facilitate the session with Sarah Solomon and Eric Martin, Senior International Relations Officers, from the Office of Child Labor, Forced Labor, and Human Trafficking at the USDOL-ILAB.
They will walk through the TVPRA list addition and removal criteria as well as Comply Chain, the U.S. government’s step-by-step guide on critical elements of a social compliance system for companies of all sizes.

Speaker Bios
Sarah Solomon is a Senior International Affairs Officer with the Department of Labor’s Bureau of International Affairs (ILAB), in the Office of Child Labor, Forced Labor, and Human Trafficking (OCFT). The mission of OCFT is to work to reduce child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking worldwide and to safeguard dignity at work by helping to ensure that other countries meet international labor standards. OCFT’s Research and Policy Unit produces important data on child labor, forced labor and human trafficking and makes it accessible to the U.S. government, foreign governments, NGOs, businesses, and other organizations working to tackle these serious violations of human rights. Sarah’s country portfolio focuses on Central Asia and Eastern Europe, with a particular focus on the textile and garment sectors. Before she joined the Department of Labor, she worked for the Department of Justice’s Office of International Affairs.
Eric Martin is a Senior International Relations Officer in the Office of Child Labor, Forced Labor, and Human Trafficking (OCFT) in the Department of Labor’s Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB). His portfolio includes countries in the Middle East as well as trafficking in persons, migrant workers, and child soldiers. OCFT produces the Department of Labor’s yearly report Findings on the Worst Forms of Child Labor, the List of Goods Produced by Child Labor and Forced Labor, and conducts research on supply chains. Eric has a B.A. in Middle East Studies from Rutgers University and a M.A. in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
