Maxime Belingheri
Director, Innovation
Maxime Belingheri is FLA’s Director of Innovation, leading the Supply Chain Action Network (SCAN) initiative that focuses on ensuring fair labor practices in upper tiers of production supply chains. He steers the Fair Labor Association and Investors Roundtable (FLAIR) and supports advocacy efforts across Europe.
Prior to joining FLA in 2026, Maxime worked at L’Oréal for 8 years, where he was instrumental in setting up the global human rights department. He designed the brand’s human rights due diligence strategy across complex supply chains, played a central role in setting up sectoral coalitions, and published L’Oréal’s first Human Rights Report. Maxime was also a key advocate for living wages.
Maxime started his career at the Défenseur des Droits (the French national equality body), where he worked on public policy and published guidance for employers on preventing discrimination.
Passionate about education, Maxime has been a lecturer at the SciencesPo Paris Law School since 2023.
Maxime holds a Master of Law from SciencesPo Paris and a Business Sustainability Management Certificate from the University of Cambridge. He is a native speaker of French and German and is fluent in English and has proficiency in Spanish. He lives in Paris, France.
