Wage Data Verification Guidance

Ensuring wage records and compensation practices are valid is an important piece to benchmarking progress towards living wage for workers. The Fair Labor Association (FLA)’s wage data verification guidance was developed from FLA’s Sustainable Compliance Initiative (SCI) Assessment approach, along with expertise from assessors and brands executing wage data verification.

This guidance defines three different models for companies – recognizing different sizes and maturity – to strengthen their fair compensation and living wage programs and prepare for living wage reporting, using the award-winning Fair Compensation Toolkit. Ensuring wage analysis is valid ensures companies can credibly benchmark and report progress on how wages are improving for workers in their supply chain.
