WASHINGTON, February 26, 2026 — The Fair Labor Association (FLA) today announced the launch of its new annual flagship event, the Fair Labor Global Summit. The inaugural summit will take place in Washington, DC from March 10 – 12, 2026.

Building on FLA’s reputation for uniting diverse parties to make a difference in the lives of workers worldwide, the Fair Labor Global Summit will convene leading brands, unions, civil society organizations, and universities for three days of learning, collaboration, and discussion centered on concretely improving working conditions in global supply chains.

“This is a crucial time for shaping smart, effective, practical human rights due diligence across supply chains,” said FLA President and CEO Jeff Vockrodt. “We are excited to establish the annual Fair Labor Global Summit, where we’ll bring together FLA members, affiliates, project partners, and other key stakeholders to collaborate on new ways of advancing human rights, while also convening our members’ cross-constituency work that has been core to FLA’s model and governance since our founding. FLA members, affiliates, and partners are leaders at a time when leadership is needed, and we look forward to making this summit an annual opportunity to innovate and move our collective work forward.”

The Fair Labor Global Summit offers FLA members, affiliates, stakeholders, and invited guests a unique opportunity to connect and exchange best practices on labor issues, from responsible purchasing practices to effectively addressing heat stress in factories and farms. The three-day, invitation-only program features panel discussions, roundtables, a collaborative workshop, networking opportunities, and more. The agenda also includes FLA caucus and committee meetings, the 2026 FLA Collegiate Programs Annual Meeting, and an open meeting of the FLA Board of Directors.

“For more than 25 years, FLA has provided a platform for members and affiliates to work across industries and interests in service of a common goal: improving the lives of workers,” said FLA Board Chair Chris Lu. “The Fair Labor Global Summit expands the opportunity for social compliance and human rights professionals to explore creative, collaborative solutions to today’s most pressing labor concerns.”
