From November 10 – 11, we’re hosting our first-ever Fair Labor Regional Forum in the capital of El Salvador. Over the course of this two-day invitation-only event, we’ll be diving into some of the most pressing labor rights issues affecting Central America, from freedom of association to gender-based violence, as well as visiting nearby factories of select FLA Participating Companies.
Educational sessions
The two days of programming will feature a series of discussions focused on important manufacturing topics relevant to the region, including freedom of association, empowering women in the apparel sector, and responsible exit.
We have many civil society and labor union representatives joining us, ensuring workers are centered in these conversations.
Networking
Attendees will have the chance to meet and mingle with fellow Fair Labor members and affiliates and key stakeholders during the Forum, which features collaborative sessions and a social hour, along with lunches and coffee breaks.
Factory visits
Attendees will have the chance to visit nearby factories of select FLA Participating Companies on the second day of the Forum.
