FLA selects Anna Lee Nabors as 2026 Eric Biel Fellow for International Labor Rights
The Fair Labor Association (FLA) announced today that Anna Lee Nabors is the 2026 Eric Biel Fellow for International Labor Rights.
The Eric Biel Fellowship honors the contribution of late FLA Senior Advisor Eric Biel to furthering international labor rights by providing an opportunity for law or graduate students to pursue practical work experience and contribute to the advancement of international labor rights in the broader context of the business and human rights space.
Nabors, a MBA/MS dual degree student in Business and Sustainability at the University of Michigan’s Erb Institute, focuses on the intersection between corporate governance and global sustainability movements, with a particular interest in natural resource management and human rights. She has contributed to research, data collection, and stakeholder engagement at organizations including the World Benchmarking Alliance and Ranking Digital Rights.
“I’m thrilled to honor Eric’s legacy by welcoming Anna Lee as the second recipient of this fellowship. Her experience and education make her an ideal fit for its mission, and we look forward to seeing her deepen her understanding of international labor rights through her work with the FLA this summer,” said Dana Rosenfeld, Biel’s wife.
During the 2025-2026 academic year, Nabors served on the FLA Student Committee. She is also active in the student organization Women in Supply Chain Studies.
During her three-month fellowship, Nabors will work with FLA staff on topics including human rights due diligence, heat stress on workers, and the Fair Labor Association and Investors Roundtable (FLAIR).
Nabors holds a B.A. in International Relations and French from Rhodes College. She currently resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
