The Fair Labor Association (FLA) has been named one of Ragan’s 2026 Top Places to Work in Communications, recognizing its commitment to purpose-driven work and people-first policies. 

This year’s award recipients have intentionally designed environments where communicators feel valued, challenged, and empowered to do meaningful work. Across industries and organizational sizes, these teams share a commitment to clarity of mission, leadership support and continuous growth — all while adapting to the evolving demands of the communications profession. 

“FLA is a unique mission-driven organization that deeply values communications as a key driver of success,” said Stacy Hope, FLA Senior Vice President, Communications. “We are honored that Ragan has recognized FLA’s commitment to supporting and investing in our communications team, which pays dividends across the organization.”  

FLA was selected for the award based on its work-life balance, transparent compensation and benefit policies, professional development and travel opportunities, culture of collaboration with experts across the globe, and team processes that support strong organization. In addition, FLA’s strategic plan clearly identifies communications as an organizational priority championed by both board and staff leadership.

“We recognize and support our communications function by ensuring our strategic planning documents clearly articulate the importance of communications to the success of FLA’s efforts to champion rigorous labor standards and promote innovative business practices that improve conditions for workers in global supply chains,” said Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff Shelly Han. 

This year’s honorees will be celebrated at a special awards luncheon on April 28, 2026, in New York City, recognizing the teams and leaders shaping the future of communications.
