FLA awards Fair Labor Accreditation to Next Level Apparel and Delta Galil at October Board Meeting
On October 22, 2026, the Fair Labor Association (FLA) hosted our virtual fall board meeting for representatives from FLA’s member companies, affiliates, and staff, and awarded accreditation to member companies Next Level Apparel and Delta Galil.
In his introductory remarks, CEO and President Jeff Vockrodt welcomed attendees and reflected on FLA’s key achievements from the last three years, including onboarding 23 new member organizations across our three caucuses, adding new union representatives to the board of directors to continue strengthening worker perspectives in FLA’s programs, and welcoming Board Chair Chris Lu in 2025.
He also reflected on ongoing challenges impacting workers’ rights globally. Reduced funding from national governments, dramatic shifts in regulatory approaches, and economic headways across many different industries have all taken a toll on the ecosystem of human rights due diligence.
“Despite these challenges, FLA’s uniquely strong position in this moment means we have a heightened responsibility to drive progress. Over the next three years, the world around us will change dramatically. We’ll have leaps forward in AI capabilities and new due diligence systems coming online. At FLA, we’ll develop our next strategic plan and embrace our role as a convener and thought leader,” said Vockrodt.
Awarding Fair Labor Accreditation to Next Level Apparel and Delta Galil
During the meeting, FLA’s board of directors voted to award Fair Labor Accreditation to two companies: Next Level Apparel, a producer and seller of premium, ethically sourced blank apparel; and Delta Galil, a vertically integrated intimates and activewear company with a focus on high-tech apparel. The decisions to accredit these members followed a rigorous, multi-year review of both companies’ business systems for compliance with international labor standards designed to protect workers in their global supply chains.
International regulatory updates
To continue educating members on important international regulatory updates, we invited Partner and Co-Founder of Due Diligence Design Libby Annat to present on key requirements of the EU Forced Labor Regulation, coming into force in December 2027. She discussed which products will be impacted, which companies and sectors the regulation applies to, and expected results from violations of the regulation. Executive Vice President and Head of Public Policy Shelly Han also reported on pressing labor issues in three key sourcing countries relevant to FLA members, including forced labor risks in Jordan; changing recruitment processes in Malaysia, and the potential U.S. withdrawal from the International Labour Organization and ongoing prioritization of forced labor import bans.

The board approved a motion to implement staggered terms for the manufacturing committee, and approved several new appointments:

- Fulya Pınar Özcan as an executive committee appointee representing the Labor & Civil Society Caucus (May 2028 – October 2029)
- Jonathan Sliva as a member of the agriculture committee, representing the University Caucus
