Bria Milbery is FLA’s Events Coordinator. She works in partnership with FLA staff and external vendors to support the planning and implementation of both internal and external events.
Prior to joining FLA in 2026, Milbery garnered more than 15 years of experience creating and managing events, programs, and community partnerships across nonprofit organizations and higher education. She spent more than a decade at FLA member Bentley University, where she developed and led events, civic engagement initiatives, and community partnerships, including founding and growing the university’s annual Fair Trade Fair and spearheading Bentley’s designation as a Fair Trade University. Earlier in her career, she worked with WE Charity, supporting large-scale events and youth engagement programs across Canada and the United States.
Milbery holds a master’s degree in human rights practice from the University of Arizona and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Bridgewater State University.
She is based in Massachusetts and is passionate about bringing people together through thoughtful, mission-driven events.
