Priya Verma
Project Specialist, India
Priya Verma is FLA’s Project Specialist for India, where she works within the Innovation team to advance fair labor standards and human rights due diligence across global supply chains. In this role, she supports the assessment of supplier practices against international frameworks, contributes to the development and refinement of tools and frameworks, and engages with stakeholders to strengthen worker protection and accountability in India.
Verma joined FLA in 2026, bringing more than 12 years of experience in human rights due diligence, monitoring and evaluation, sustainable supply chains, and child protection. Prior to FLA, she held senior roles in the development sector, leading MEL systems, multi-stakeholder partnerships, and evidence-based program design. She has worked with Indian and international civil society organizations, academic institutions, and multilateral agencies, contributing to labor rights protection, child welfare, and community-level impact across multiple Indian states.
Verma holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Rights Law from the National Law School of India University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Delhi, complemented by specialized training in social auditing and program evaluation.
Verma speaks English and Hindi. She is based in Gurgaon, Delhi NCR, India.
