Fair Labor Association awards Fair Labor Accreditation to L2 Brands

Issues Fair Labor Accreditation

WASHINGTON, March 12, 2026 — The Fair Labor Association (FLA) announced today that its board of directors has voted to award Fair Labor Accreditation to L2 Brands, a company based in Hanover, Penn., dedicated to providing premium custom logo apparel, headwear, and home décor products.

The decision by the FLA board follows a rigorous, multi-year review of L2 Brands’ business systems for compliance with international labor standards designed to protect workers in its global supply chains. L2 Brands sources from 18 contract factories across eight countries, and two owned factories in El Salvador and the United States.

“Throughout their journey toward accreditation, the team at L2 Brands has worked hard to ensure that conditions in both contract and owned factories reflect company leadership’s commitment to upholding workers’ rights,” said FLA President and CEO Jeff Vockrodt. “We welcome L2 Brands to the ranks of Fair Labor Accredited members and congratulate them on this significant achievement.”

“Achieving Fair Labor Association accreditation is a meaningful milestone for L2 Brands and a reflection of the discipline and integrity our team brings to this work every day. This recognition affirms our commitment to building a strong, transparent social compliance program that protects workers and strengthens trust with our customers,” said L2 Brands’ CEO, Connor Knutson.

Since becoming an FLA member in 2016, L2 Brands has continuously improved its social compliance program and kept pace with the changes to FLA standards enacted over the intervening years. The accreditation report details FLA’s evaluation of L2 Brands’ social compliance program through March 2026.

Highlights of L2 Brands’ Fair Labor Accreditation include:

  • Company-wide commitment: L2 Brands’ high-level commitment to sustainable and ethical business practices is illustrated through the involvement of the company’s leadership in key production and sourcing decisions that prioritize worker well-being. Leaders receive updates on audit results, support investment in social compliance programs, and collaborate with the corporate social responsibility team to assess impacts on workplace conditions when making key decisions.
  • Supplier relationships: L2 Brands has long-term and transparent relationships with its suppliers and owned factories and prioritizes these relationships. L2 Brands has invested significantly into its owned facility in El Salvador, including through upskilling workers to increase potential job growth. On average, L2 Brands holds relationships with sourcing suppliers for eight or more years, understanding that collaboration with a supplier remains central to upholding workers’ rights and responsible purchasing commitments.
  • Training for suppliers and at owned facilities: With social compliance staff working closely and collaboratively with human resources teams across both owned production sites, L2 Brands provides comprehensive facility training on workplace standards and grievance mechanisms. L2 Brands offers suppliers access to FLA e-Learning offerings, including courses and trainings, covering a variety of topics including such as code of conduct elements, worker engagement, and handling grievances.

Fair Labor Accreditation helps investors and consumers make informed choices by showing that a company is actively fulfilling the highest standards in labor rights.

It is the only comprehensive program of its kind that is based on international standards and frameworks such as the International Labour Organization, UN Guiding Principles, the OECD, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Fair Labor Accredited companies are evaluated on an ongoing basis and must demonstrate continuous improvement in addressing working conditions and protecting workers’ rights. To see a list of Fair Labor Accredited companies and to learn more, please visit www.fairlabor.org.
